    Description

    WW I Sam Browne leather belt with cross strap. This belt was custom made for this officer, His name is Cook. he hade made to fit one size and that is his with a 31" waist. Notice that it has no extra double buckle tongue holes nor hole for the brass stud. The stud has been removed and the extra length of the belt is kept in place by a leather keeper. There is enough extra belt length for a buyer to extend the belt to fit a 35" - 35" waist. On the under side of the cross strap nearest the buckle is the maker name of Hobson and Sons, London Ltd. Leather is supple and no stitching faults.
