These coins were produced in the 1960's for sale to US Military Forces in Saigon. Sold by Children and their parents around markets, bars and clubs. They were sold as luck charms.
I have come across a few of these items in Vietnam collections and more recently a small cache of these coins at an auction in Vietnam.
They were sold for any other coin, US Military Token, US Coinage, Vietnam (South Coinage) - At the time the going rate was 25c or 10 dong.
