Made by GIEVES LTD., of 21 Old Bond Street, London; still in existence today but now located in London's famous Saville Row. This tailor bears a "Royal Warrant" meaning they were tailors to King George VI as well as other members of the Royal family, before and since and who are still arguably the world's highest regarded and most exclusive military & civilian tailors.
The buckle retains about all of its original finish and shows the Kings Crown above the anchor, within a laurel wreath. There are initials on the back of the buckle “A.F.B.”. The leather work is in good condition.
Two hangers 25.5 inches and 13 inches long each.
The hanger loops are separated from the belt due to missing thread along the stitch line, see photos. It can be easily stitched back by shoe repair place or the like.
Belt is approximately 37 inches long including buckle, with the ability to extend the length by perhaps another 4 inches.
