    This is  a narrower version  of what we call a superior bar pin. We do offer a heavier pin then this which is Item# 715x. The pin on this is thinner though and that makes it easier to go through cloth. The bar or base is about 4mm wide. Narrower then the other superior pin.   Yes it is expensive compared to most bar pins but it is not your average bar pin. It is not going to resemble those cheesy ones that you get at wal-mart. This is made in the USA, it is solid nickel, no plating.
