    Description

    This listing is for a bundle of Bakelite rods. These were manufactured a few years ago, not antique, but they are genuine phenol-formaldehyde resin that will pass any test you give it (hot water, Simichrome, etc.) They are .98" wide (24mm) and altogether they weigh 650 grams. There are 7 rods, all approximately 6" long. Great material for jewelry. It can be turned on a lathe, and cut with a bandsaw to produce beads for rosaries, subha, etc. There may be some inclusions, but no cracks.
