    Description

    Brown leather belt with solid brass Royal Marine, post 1902 solid brass buckle. The male portion of the buckle is numbered 108 and the female portion is numbered 45. The belt has been altered with the addition of 15 cartridge loops riveted in place. The belt has a single tongue solid brass size adjusting buckle with 2 leather keepers. The belt will fit up to a maximum size of 37". Leather is supple and needs a good polish. My guess is that the belt was altered to accommodate shotgun shells, probably 12 ga..
